Best of 2006: Camille 'Acoustic'

In between the time that I've spent over the past few days eating and drinking far too much I've been taking a little time out to think about the top musical moments of the past year and my first pick takes the form of the video above - the French artist Camille with this extraordinary beatboxing track. With an amazing mix of beatboxing, sampling and her fantastic voice this song and video are truly unique and definitely make my top list of musical moments for 2006

Of course, Bobby McFerrin did the same thing quite a while ago ... without the samplers ... but it's still great to see someone doing new and interesting musical things.

BTW - what are the words to the song?? My French sucks.
