(Page 1)2. I download music all the time thanks to that crappy Lou Bega CD where he ripped me off with alkl the crappy songs! But I now pay a premium on blank CDs, even if they're to be used for backing up person stuff on my puter, this premium on blank CDs, is my LICENCE to download whatever music I want. Because I'm paying the RIAA for that purpose already!

I have to agree with you. They can call it a "levy" or "compensation" all they want, but it's still a license to share copyrighted music. They can't have their cake and eat it, too.

4. Fantastic, Grant. I loved it!!! Couldn't have been said better. I think you could have a great future in (a) entertainment or (b) the law.

6. God I hate the RIAA. But this outlash is against the RIAA, not the music corps that hire them. It's like we are beating a temporary scape goat. It's like Poland being a buffer state for Russia.

1. I vote for more -- it's sort of an audio column, and a great way for us to get to know your writers and their opinions.
