Yeah! Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's new album is due out early in 2007, but that hasn''t stopped the band from dropping an early Christmas present on their fans. Two tracks, and a complete track list are available at the band's site. The two tracks available for free are "Love Song No. 7" and "Underwater(You and Me)." To be frank, "Love Song No. 7" leaves me sorta flat, but "Underwater" is quite encouraging, and definitely enjoyable.

CYHSY are heroes among the legions of indie bands who look to the internet to promote their independently produced wares. After releasing a self produced album in 2005, CYHSY received a lot of blog love which led to huge album sales (for a self produced release) and eventually a repressing to meet demand. Their 2007 release, titled "Some Loud Thunder" is highly anticipated.
