Are the Beatles coming to iTunes? The Times Online reports EMI's David Munns made comment to the effect that the Bealtes catalog could be long sooner rather than later.
"EMI, which has made a fortune from the Beatles since the band burst onto the music scene with Love Me Do in 1962, is coy about the details. But the music group has dropped the first hint that the catalogue of songs will be made available on the internet."
The Beatles catalog was a super seller when re-issued on CD back in the 80's. Will a digitally download-able Beatles catalog be the super seller that its CD counterpart was?

1. Perhaps I'm mistaken, but don't recorded works go into public domain in Europe after 50 years? So isn't the clock ticking for EMI to make deals like this?
