If you've been paying attention at all to where the real movement within the digital music market is, you know it's all about A2C: Artist-to-Consumer. There are several companies(and as many philosophies) competing to give artists the tools to market and sell themselves over the Internet, in the absence of a conventional record deal. Zuzula is a relaunched entry in that space, but a promising one. An interesting point about Zuzula is that artists (or indie labels, even) are offered a way to take themselves to market with no upfront cost. Unlimited mp3 storage space, protected 60 second samples, a fan email marketing system and a ridiculously low payout thresh hold of $5, and a payout schedule that runs daily.
Combined, what Zuzula offers is a great deal from all I see; A sweetheart deal that I'm sure will need to generate a ton of momentum to stay afloat in a very competitive space.
