It took all of a few days for someone to release a tool to strip DRM from AllofMp3's new ad supported download service. The program, dubbed MusicForMe,strips the content protection by dumping the in-memory version of the file created by the MusicForMasses player itself, essentially using AllofMp3's software against itself in the most basic of DRM removal.
The program can be downloaded here. Not that you should; Using any means to remove DRM from a file is against the law in the United States and some other jurisdictions. Plus, as our own Jordan Running of Download Squad says, "MusicForMe is probably totally illegal and possibly dangerous, so use it at your own, not insignificant, risk."
Download squad also points to this, a less well covered but also interesting crack for the week old service. Haven't we told you before? DRM does little if anything to protect music from those who seek to pirate it through illicit means.
