Ever wondered what a visualization of your music listening habits might look like? Neither have I. The snappy hipsters over at Last.fm have and, with some digging in the Audioscrobbler database, they managed to produce something that looks more like a Rorshack test than a chart of music lisening habits. To explain, the yellow line running through the middle is actually a continuum of chart positions. The green lines represent a song moving from a lower point on the chart to a higher one and, as you might have guessed, the red lines illustrate a song as it moves down the rankings.
The result is a really neat visual representation of your own top 40. Do your tastes change? Do you listen to many different artists or just a few favorites? It's all right there in red, green and yellow. The results at Audioscrobbler of Last.fm team members really shows the difference in listening patterns of various people.
