We've pretty openly criticised Burnlounge as nothing more than Multi-Level-Marketing gone 21st century. Digital Music Wire gave Stephen Murray, Co-Founder, President of Entertainment & Chief Creative Officer of Burnlounge "We don't talk publicly about the kind of numbers people are generating. We'll tell you there are people who have as many as 8,000 people in there [sic] extended teams, and obviously as you can imagine every single download that is sold through any of those stores generates a certain level of commission for the person who sponsored them."
For those of you that don't speak scam artist, "extended teams" is we-dont-wanna-get-sued for "downline" a term widely used to describe the network of people you almost never make any money off of in a multi-level-marketing scam.
We've previously talked about Burnlounge in not-so glowing terms. How do these people continue to sign big name celebrities to hawk their wares?
