Is Microsoft's Zune being built by Toshiba? A recent FCC certification filing is making its way around the net and it looks suspiciously like the Zune stats and photos hat have been leaked to the press.
30GB Hard drive? Check. 3 Inch Screen? Check. FM Tuner? Check. Neat-o little side step that allows Microsoft to compete with other PlaysForSure licensee's but doesn't completely step on their toes? Check.
In my mind this gives Microsoft's effort a great deal more credibility. I've openly mused about Microsoft's inability to build good hardware, but Toshiba's small electronics prowess is well known and revered.
They may be late to the dance, but it looks like Microsoft is doing its dead level best to bring loads of entertainment when they do arrive.
