John Doe's Ploy Fails

Well, that didn't work. The "John Doe" motion to sever an RIAA lawsuit on a procedural basis, based on the idea that groups of defendents should not be corralled together in characteristic RIAA style, has been denied. The defendent in this particular case is also pleading that the technology by which the RIAA identifies its victims is invalid.
