This is a great idea, if you can get it to work. The iTunes Signature Maker (iTSM) clips bits of your favorite
tracks, as derived from your iTunes ratings and frequency data, and mashes them into a sonic signature that you can
share. iTSM was created by Jason Freeman, a composer whose work has
been performed in Carnegie Hall.
He suggests using it to qualify romantic interests and politicians. Apple should license this thing, and apply it to
iPods. Or throw it into the ROKR.
I couldn't get iTSM to install, but I have a feeling it works in most cases. I probably need to tweak my iTunes
version.

1. I'll post this here, as I did in TUAW, Why would anyone trust this code to run on your computer? Not Worth it at all.
