Bad enough that Sony's new CD copy-protection technology reportedly cloaks itself in spyware fashion in the user's computer, and can damage the computer if removed. Now, new reports claim that the malicious software also snoops on user behavior (music playing, specifically), and sends that info back to Sony. The company denies it. An Italian digital rights organization believes the claims enough to charge formal complaints with the Italian police. [via SCOOPOZ]
