The best way to get music into podcasts, circumventing the abhorrent licensing maze, is to find indie artists hungry for exposure. It shouldn't be hard, especially for a well-connected radio station, and that's exactly what KEXP is doing. The first in a series of podcasts features full-length songs from 14 local bands. Another podcast is a recording of a studio performance from a local hip-hop trio. The podcast world needs much, much more of this. [via Pho]
1. Great! KEXP is a great station that plays great artists. I was introduced to them by a friend of mine when I travelled out to the Seattle area. Since then I have been hooked!
