After announcements, delays, and speculation, Apple is finally (well, according to the latest annoucement), readying an iTMS outlet in Japan. I suppose if pricing is disclosed, it's for real: $1.40 U.S. per track. That seems like a lot to American consumers, but it's a bargain in Japan. the catalog will be bigger (at least 500,000 songs) than existing online services, too.
