The Hype Machine is an MP3 Blog with a level of intensity not normally found. But it's not editorial intensity; in fact, there's almost no editorial at all on the site. It's a compilation of MP3 uploads from other blogs, and Hype Machine off-links the editorial, sendin you to the source blog to read about the music. About 150 MP3 tracks are adeed to Hype Machine each day, and clicking the Winamp logo delivers an .m3u stream of the last 24 hours, which is a fantastic way to discover music. As at other MP3 blogs, the tracks serve as promotion of the bands' products, and the site will remove any music upon request.
