Not unexpectedly, Suprnova.org—the leading torrent distribution site—has shut down without official explanation, days after the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) promised lawsuits against such sites. Torrents-bit.org and ome other major distributors hasve also shuttered. Other destinations that specialize in TV shows (what's the point in having broadband if you can't download a weekly fix of Smallville and Lost?) are still up and running, but you won't see them linked here. Slashdot and Google Groups contain revealing discussions of the situation.
