Playlist Magazine launched its first issue in late August, and now has opened up its Web site. This deceptive little rag pretends to be a general digital music magazine, but in fact is almost entirely about Mac products and services. Why not name it waht it is?— the iTunes/iPod Magazine.
1. They couldn't use the name "iPod" or "iTunes" in the magazine title (Apple wouldn't allow it) so they had to come up with another name. I agree that their tag line is deceptive, but the name surely isn't. They are also covering their rear-ends in case the iPod turns cold in today's pop culture.
