Starbucks has opened in Santa Monica the first of its
Hear Music stores. It offers
to its customers a digital music delivery experience where they can create and buy CD compilations out of a libray
of 20,000 full-length albums.
The rollout plan will start by adding the service in 10 select Starbucks stores in Seattle by this spring. There are reports that Starbucks is also contemplating rolling out the service in the UK.

So I stopped by Hear Music today with the integrated Starbucks and the CD burning kiosks and I snuck some pictures with my camera phone. The images aren't the best quality, but I think you can get the idea from 'em…..
I wonder whether Starbucks will allow WiFi users to download songs directly to their computers.
